TingMeng's Anoplasty

TingMeng
is a girl born in southeastern China with a congenital imperforate anus.
This is caused by abnormal development of the fetus and means that TingMeng’s opening
is either missing or blocked. This imperfection can be created via a
surgical procedure called an anoplasty. A temporary colostomy is often
preformed first, while tests are taken and the baby is monitored. Once
the medical team is ready, the affected organs are surgically corrected by the anoplasty operation.
Half
the Sky is seeking to raise $5500 to cover the costs of TingMeng’s care before,
during, and after surgery. Please help us give TingMeng the chance to
live the normal, healthy life she deserves!
